About Our Products

Each PMAC piece is handcrafted individually, not mass-produced. Because of this, every bag and accessory is one of a kind. While designs follow a consistent pattern and aesthetic, no two items will ever be identical — a hallmark of true handmade craftsmanship.

All products are created in a smoke-free, pet-free studio, with careful attention to detail, quality, and finish.

We strive to provide the most accurate photographs and descriptions possible. Please note that slight variations in color may occur due to differences in screen displays, and fabric placement may vary from one piece to another. These variations are part of the beauty and individuality of handmade work.

Some designs may be created using licensed patterns from independent designers; however, every item is cut, assembled, and finished locally by PMAC Company. The creative process, material selection, and craftsmanship are entirely our own.

If you have specific questions about materials, color tones, or fabric placement, we are always happy to assist prior to purchase.

Materials We Use & How to Care for Them

Our materials are chosen intentionally for their beauty, durability, and sustainability, with cork and high-quality faux leather at the heart of our designs.

Cork Fabric (Primarily Exterior Material)

Cork fabric is our signature material and is most often used on the exterior of our bags and accessories. Harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree, cork is a natural, renewable, and biodegradable material. The tree is never cut down — the bark regenerates after harvesting, making cork an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional leather.

Most of the cork used in our products is imported from Portugal, honoring both quality and heritage.

Cleaning & Care:

  • Wipe gently with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and mild soap
  • Baby wipes or alcohol wipes may also be used for spot cleaning
  • Allow to air dry naturally

Cork is naturally water-resistant, lightweight, and remarkably durable, making it ideal for everyday use.

Why Cork?

Cork is more than a material choice — it is a design philosophy.

Naturally lightweight yet exceptionally durable, cork offers the beauty and performance of leather without the environmental impact. It is soft to the touch, naturally water-resistant, and resistant to wear, making it an ideal material for everyday bags and accessories.

Harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree, cork is a renewable resource. The tree is never cut down, and the bark regenerates over time, allowing cork to be harvested sustainably for generations.

  • Cruelty-free
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Naturally antimicrobial
  • Lightweight and flexible, yet strong

By choosing cork, we are able to create pieces that are thoughtfully made, responsibly sourced, and designed to last — without compromising on style or function.

Faux Leather & Vinyl (Exterior Material)

High-quality faux leather is commonly used alongside cork to provide structure, contrast, and a refined finish. We choose faux leather intentionally as a cruelty-free alternative that complements our sustainable design philosophy.

Cleaning & Care:

  • Clean with a mild, diluted dish soap or neutral household cleaner
  • Wipe gently using a microfiber cloth
  • Rinse with a clean, lightly damp cloth and allow to air dry

Vinyl is occasionally used for specific designs where durability and structure are key.

Cleaning & Care:

  • Mix equal parts white vinegar and water
  • Lightly dampen a soft cloth and gently clean the surface
  • Avoid over-wetting and dry thoroughly
Cotton & Waterproof Canvas (Interior Linings)

Cotton and waterproof canvas are commonly used for bag linings and interior pockets.

Cleaning & Care:

  • Spot clean when possible
  • Cotton linings are best professionally dry cleaned if needed
  • Waterproof canvas may be gently scrubbed
Leather (Limited Use)

Traditional leather is not commonly used in our products. In rare cases where leather is incorporated:

Cleaning & Care:

  • Clean gently with equal parts white vinegar and water
  • Use a soft cloth and avoid saturating
  • Dry thoroughly after cleaning
